Healthy business creates jobs on Central Coast

NSW Government payroll tax rebates are helping Wyong business Oliver’s Real Food double its workforce and bring new jobs to the Central Coast.

Oliver’s is taking on the traditional fast food outlets by providing an organic, healthy menu with the aim of tackling obesity, particularly in younger people. The company also plans to expand the franchise to other parts of Australia, expecting to open 300 stores over the next decade.

Visiting Oliver’s outlet in Mingara, Minister for Regional Development Phil Costa said: “We’re committed to supporting business to provide job opportunities for young people and the company also has a policy of hiring young unemployed people. With NSW Government support, this business plans to double its workforce by creating 13 new jobs over the next five years.”

CEO of Oliver's Real Food Jason Gunn said the NSW Government's Payroll Tax Incentive Scheme is helping the company to press on with their expansion plans. “NSW Government payroll tax rebates are off-setting the cost of our expansion plans and helping us to create new jobs. We think it's a great scheme and we appreciate the Government's support," Mr Gunn said.
